Conflict of interest[edit]

In this article on his own campaign website, Miller admits that he has edited his own Wikipedia article "two or three times". LonelyBoy2012 (talk) 03:14, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And so he should if defamatory content are on this page. Vexorg (talk) 23:03, 23 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The interview makes it clear that he was trying to make the article less unflattering, not removing defamatory content. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:30, 24 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, that is inappropriate editing. I think there is a difference between deserving unflattering content and defamatory content. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RuediiX (talkcontribs) 22:50, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RfC[edit]

Light bulb iconBAn RfC: Which descriptor, if any, can be added in front of Southern Poverty Law Center when referenced in other articles? has been posted at the Southern Poverty Law Center talk page. Your participation is welcomed. – MrX 17:01, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

poor sourcing[edit]

The Following text was deleted: The movie The Liberator was slated to be filmed in Hermann, Missouri, a town known for its German-American heritage and which was named after Arminius. This decision caused a controversy among area residents due to Miller's alleged racism.[1]

This "source" does not even exist. It is a dead link, and even the home site www.ngnn.com does not appear to exist on the internet. This text was removed not only because of its poor sourcing, but because of the connected allegation of "racism" to this individual, in accordance with the Wikipedia directive above: "Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous."
