This looks like a case of 98.6°F syndrome… 0.034 cd/m2 translates to about 0.0099246 footlamberts [1]. The figure of 3.4 cd/m2 would be 0.99246 footlamberts. Approximately.  ;-)—Dah31 01:34, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Someone has added to the article the comment/correction: "photopic type starts from above 3.4". I'm removing it from the article, but someone knowledgable ought to correct the info if necessary! It's marked 'dubious'. --Hordaland (talk) 09:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
