I am kind of confused by the nitrogen-oxygen triple bond in the linear nitrosyl bonding mode...any further explaination?

...isn't a metal-nitrosyl complex. Alfa-ketosav (talk) 07:22, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pray tell, enlighten us.--Smokefoot (talk) 13:19, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

At first glance, I too thought it was not a nitrosyl complex, since I thought I was looking at a salt of hexacyanoferrate(II), but then I noticed that one of the ligands is indeed an NO ligand. Thus I believe it is a metal nitrosyl complex, so no edit is needed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robbit Hobbit (talkcontribs) 02:33, 15 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
