My first article[edit]

This is the first article I wrote on Wikipedia, so pardon me if it is bare-bones in terms of informational resources. But, seeing as Wikipedia is a collective community project, it will be edited with additions soon enough. Tickbeat (talk) 02:27, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Based on how much I had to rip out, I recommend you refrain from writing until you have reliable sources for this chemical at hand, and then only write what the sources exactly support (and use <ref>...</ref> to cite each specific detail. See WP:YFA for details. DMacks (talk) 18:50, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, plus that didn't really even need its own section, the chemical reaction is pretty easy to describe in a couple sentences. Tickbeat (talk) 19:00, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Dang, looking at the revision history, I knew next to nothing about this...thing. 💀 Tickbeat (talk) 16:42, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Images for methylammonium formate[edit]

There's a really specific type of ball-and-stick notation that is often used by Wikipedia in their images of molecules. The sticks are just the right thickness, and their colors are based on the two atoms that are bonded together. First off, it looks really clean and is my favorite type of one, but more importantly, it is the primary notation Wikipedia uses for molecules, in addition to ball notation. I could find precisely zero images of methylammonium formate, let alone in the specific type of ball-and-stick notation Wikipedia often uses. And in softwares where I can make my own, it's not the right "font" of notation if you will. Like, usually the main problem is that the sticks are too thin. How do they make those molecule images in that specific "font" of molecular notation? Because I might need to make my own. Tickbeat (talk) 16:03, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was told Benjah-bmm27 makes good molecule visualizations? Tickbeat (talk) 19:01, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
