The result of the above referenced nomination was to keep the article. But it was suggested by several users that we should change the name. Does anyone have any suggestion?
I personally dislike the current name, because there is no "former" city, Mexico City is one city at different points in time. If there was an administrative division within the Federal District called Mexico City (a deparatmento? or a delegacion?), why don't we call it Mexico City (former administrative division). I personally, and strongly, dislike terms that imply that there was or is another Mexico City. --theDúnadan 17:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If somebody can upload a map showing the location of this Mexico City, I'd really appreciate it. I think it was somewhere along the northern present-day border of Mexico but I'm not sure. WinterSpw (talk) 04:04, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
