Merger proposal[edit]

I've proposed that the article Miami Central Station be merged with Miami Intermodal Center. From the Miami Central Station article:

The station will be located inside the future Miami Intermodal Center...

Miami Central Station is but one part of the greater Miami Intermodal Center and, as such, should become a section of that article. --Millbrooky (talk) 01:02, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say hold off, as we don't fully know just how the place is going to be laid out. AFAICT, the Miami Central Station name refers specifically to the rail station part of the Intermodal Center, and therefore has something of a distinct identity. My future opinion may change depending on the actual construction and layout. But that will require future consideration as it reaches completion. oknazevad (talk) 17:00, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Upon further research, I'm going with oppose. The MIC is not one building, but a complex of separate, distinct buildings connected by a people mover. Each building is unique and notable, so should get separate articles, similar to the Meadowlands Sports Complex articles. (If anything, the MCS article should be rewritten for clarity) oknazevad (talk) 14:09, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

I put some work into this article and I think I can remove the update tag. If I missed something, please say what it is here, or better yet, be BOLD and contribute it! - Aalox (Say HelloMy Work) 02:06, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
