What is going on?

[edit]

Why is the article being steadily shortened guys? Would people please stop deleting information without giving any reasons.Polocrunch 16:25, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kashmir never had caste system like india and pakistani punjab. So please avoid these terms like kashmiri lohar. Kashmiri society does not have these kind of taboo surnames. Do not apply your punjabi caste system to kashmiri people. As far as Nawaz sharif is concerned , he is of kashmiri descent and his surname is VANI not lohar. We kashmiris can adopt any reasonable profession in kashmir but we are still identified by our clan names not with our profession name............. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.69.21.94 (talk) 19:29, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very nice article but titile is very broad

[edit]

As we all know the Mian's were "one" of the noble families of Pakistan, we should include more in this topic or merge this with a more broader topic covering the 15 or so other famlies widely known within Pakistani Aristocracy and Nobility. --KhanAsfandeyar (talk) 22:40, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Mian family of Baghbanpura Lahore is ARAIN having Arab origin. Hard to understand why some Rajpooot and Jutttt brothers always remove actual history of Arain. Jelousy isn't good even for Rajpooots and Jutts too. Roberto 879 (talk) 23:31, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
