Establishing notability
[edit]I'm posting some comments here because of the "notability" template somebody slapped on this article.
This guy's name is Michael T. Anderson. I ran a Google Scholar search and got 59 hits, but some 14 of those appear to be a different MT Anderson. That's still 45 math papers showing up for him, which is substantial, but not overwhelming. I also count 562 citations (including only those papers with 10 or more citations). So I'd say this guy is notable, based on the number of people who have cited his results in their own papers.
It would be nice to document more of this within the article itself, but I'm feeling pressed for time right now. DavidCBryant 15:57, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
