GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Michael Boulding/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Hello. I'll be doing the GA review for this article. The article is very good, but here are some other suggestions for improvement:

  • How do you feel about merging the early life section into the personal life sections, since they are both relatively short?
    • I can see what you mean. I've put them as separate sections in the hope they may both expand over time. If you want to merge them, then I will do. Peanut4 (talk) 18:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • I'd say merge for now. They can always be divided again in the future. Nikki311 00:18, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • This may just be because I am an American, but the phrase "as a schoolboy" seems incredibly informal. "...while he was in school" or something would be better.
    • It wasn't strictly in school though, which is why I've put "as a schoolboy". I could change it to "as a youngster" but I felt "as a schoolboy" explained more exactly the time period. Peanut4 (talk) 18:53, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's it! Excellent work. :) Nikki311 00:17, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pass. That may have been the easiest and fastest GA review I've ever done. :) Nikki311 17:36, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks very much for the review; much appreciated. Peanut4 (talk) 17:39, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I would like to make the change of Michaels Birth place from Manchester, to Sheffield. He was born in Sheffield not Manchester, and has never even lived in Manchester but im not sure how to edit it on his profile.(Maryb90 (talk) 11:39, 2 April 2012 (UTC))[reply]
