So what's going on with Wheeler -- convicted, acquitted, or what? Perhaps we should tag for notability or AfD.--S. Rich (talk) 18:48, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

prod justification...

[edit]

Dumelow's {{prod}} justification was "no notability established, relatively junior officer accused of a relatively minor crime."

I question the assertion that this was "a relatively minor crime". $8,000,000,000 was spent, in Iraq, without the accounting to easily trace how it was spent. Wheeler played a role in that theft. $8,000,000,000 is not a minor theft. Even if this were considered hundreds of separate thefts of mere millions or tens of millions, I would question calling those individual thefts "minor crimes". Fair enough, I've removed the PROD tag. I'm still not convinced that this passes WP:BLP1E though, I'm not seeing any significant coverage aside from the theft and even then nothing really in detail about the participants. I think the best course of action would be to merge this article, Debra Harrison and Robert Stein Jr. into a single article on the theft. What do you think? - Dumelow (talk) 08:18, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I came here to suggest the same solution that Dumelow presented, merging to an article on the theft. Echoing his sentiments. Eddie891 Talk Work 12:41, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
