General

  • No issues with imaging
  • No problems with sourcing
  • For all the BBC sources, BBC Sport is the 'work', BBC is the 'publisher'.
    • Not sure I see why? Mattythewhite (talk) 18:34, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • From my understanding, the BBC are the publishers, because they 'publish' and host the content, BBC News or BBC Sport, are the 'work' -- their division worked on the articles. It's a de facto I think, and this isn't a big requirement in GA reviews, though it is something that may come up at WP:FAC or WP:PR should you want to take it there. Either way happy to pass this. --Lemonade51 (talk) 19:04, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Club career

  • 16 year old should be all hyphenated
  • "Scarborough on 5 April", 5 April 2012? 2005? Per WP:CONSISTENCY and WP:STO, you should add the years to all dates with a month and date.
    • Usually use a rule of thumb of omitting the year after its first instance, but have added them on your recommendation. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:34, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Manager Andy Ritchie described him...", as you have introduced the manager's full name in the first paragraph, it is fine to use his last name thereafter per WP:MOS.
  • "6 January 2007 to make the score 1–1" → "6 January 2007, making the score 1-1."
  • "Manager Simon Davey claimed" → "Manager Simon Davey commented"
  • "However, these were later removed from the records after Chester were expelled from the Football Conference", on what grounds?

Personal life

  • I'm guessing it would be difficult to find any details about family life, presumably because he hasn't given out any interviews?
    • Have had a search for more details but haven't had any luck. Mattythewhite (talk) 18:34, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Otherwise very short and readable article, well sourced. Happy to pass this providing corrections are made within seven days. On hold. -- Lemonade51 (talk) 14:13, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Short article, therefore is a stub. Asics talk 17:42, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
