syringe case[edit]

The section isn't clear at all to the point that I'm not quite sure what the case was about exactly. IRWolfie- (talk) 09:40, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Does this fellow have any independent notability outside of the film? If not, I recommend merging this article to Puncture (film). I've cleaned up the spelling and grammar, but there are still severe sourcing issues as puncturemovie.com is not reliable in any sense of the word. Moreschi (talk) 14:44, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like merge would be the best option. IRWolfie- (talk) 09:23, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deaths related to the GPO investigation[edit]

Well, a number of issues in this section. Most important is that it goes well beyond the actual subject of the article, a biography of Michael David Weiss, who had died the year after he and his firm started working on the Safety Syringe case, years before the events covered in this section. This section also has WP:NPOV point of view issues, as it features references to various unfettered opinion pieces from lawyers personally involved in various Medicare fraud cases – again, cases long after the death of Weiss, and not exactly related to the Safety Syringe case. The article also conflates a two-part conspiracy theory regarding the 2004 deaths of two US Attorneys and the 2006 Dismissal of U.S. attorneys controversy, mixed into a POV jumble that is implying that this was all done to pervert the cases brought forward... long after the death of Weiss.

The civil actions by lawyer Mark Lanier, helping Safety Syringe settle with the GPOs and syringe manufacturers, ties a bow on the Weiss story regarding the Safety Syringe case, and nothing in this "Deaths related to the GPO investigation" section is needed.
