May 2010 Rewrote the introduction[edit]

I tried to convert what was already there to a better organized article and to improve the citations. I have searched on the web for his birthdate without sucess. I know from my research that he is approximately 48 years old.1archie99 (talk) 21:20, 18 May 2010 (UTC). I found a Billboard article that gave his age in 2001; added his aprx birth year citing this article; making his age aprx 47.1archie99 (talk) 00:31, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1963 birth is wrong: I think Michael was born in 1956 - but he never reveals his age during interviews. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.141.28.192 (talk) 05:41, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The cited 2-3-2001 edition of Billboard has an article about Woodsongs which gives his age as 38 at the time. Johnathon gives his birthday as January 22 at the top of his Facebook page. That would make him 38 on January 22, 2001 and his birthdate 1-22-63.1archie99 (talk) 04:55, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

His birth year is much closer to 1956 than 1963. I knew him in 1987 when I was 23 and he claimed to be 30 then - which would put his birth year at 1957. He told me he remembered seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show and that was in 1964 so it's not possible he was born in 1963 despite any articles out there. Not saying this is an intentional error, he purposely does not reveal his age. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.168.176.114 (talk) 21:42, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To Those in Control: Why people avoid using citations if they can get away with it.[edit]

I just had my edit of one link for Discography and the addition of another removed link dumped. An hour of work down the tubes. My edit was accepted for a preview, everything looked ok. I clicked save then I was told my edit was not accepted; my work removed due to my use of a blacklisted link; I was not even given the courtesy of being told which of the three links was a no-no. 1archie99 (talk) 00:46, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tone of article[edit]

The article as it is now has a strong flavor of a publicity release. It needs major rewriting to achieve objectivity and neutral tone. Zaslav (talk) 04:32, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Tone of article is not terribly encyclopedic[edit]

I did considerable copyedit for style, grammar, tone, and formatting. I attempted to reduce the PR tone of the entry, but more really needs to be done. Citations remain problematic. Robertnola (talk) 15:15, 22 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
