Steve Harrison[edit]

Harrison's 06 performance is completely relevant. The Times and many other media outlets regularly mention this fact, when discussing this race. The 06 performance is his opponent's rationale for remaining in the race. This is not a McMahon campaign site (nor is this a Harrison site). Mentioning the performance is not electioneering. Its purely factual and adds context. It is not an advocacy statement any more than stating McMahon's endorsements. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.168.100.147 (talk) 15:29, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I don't doubt the claim about Harrison's vote total, I don't think it belongs in an article about his primary opponent. To keep it would appear to undermine McMahon's candidacy. Polutlas (talk) 06:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Harrison's performance in 2006 is relevant on HIS page, not McMahon's. It adds no context to the discussion of McMahon's performance in 2008, any more than the mention that the Jets got further into the playoffs last year is relevant on a write-up of last year's Super Bowl. If you're such a big fan of Harrison, feel free to update his page; no one else will mind.165.97.69.13 (talk) 22:58, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

pov wording[edit]

This is supposed to be a npov section. Saying things like historic plan are pov loaded. This article needs rewriting on several sentences to sound less like a politcal ad. 161.185.151.150 (talk) 17:24, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
