Expand the lead section by adding “Michael Nelson’s peak time was at the point playing as a member of Hartle Pool United (2003-09). Nelson started strongly for Hartlepool with 259 Apps (Gls 14). Although Nelson failed to maintain this through to the 2004–05 season and he handed in a transfer request, he eventually withdrew his transfer request and was reinstalled into the starting line-up. His performances earned him an improved contract and he was offered a new three-year contract that would tie him to the club until 2008.” to lead section.

Hello fellow wikipedians, I think people would be interested in Michael Nelson’s peak time during his senior career and want something related in the lead section, so I drew a bit from the early career session to get it expanded. Merak Cai (talk) 15:02, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Needs more requirements. Hello @Merak Cai, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for suggesting this edit to improve the lead section. Could you provide me with those two things, so that I could proceed with the changes?
  • 1 or more reliable secondary sources that can be added as citations; and
  • Where exactly you want the cited text to be added?
