I don't really understand this process. Michael Slackman is standing outside Pearl Square doing some of the most brilliant reporting I've seen seen from a scene of civil unrest. You can watch him live on the TimesCast. I have seen his work over the years and admired it. I think there should be an article about him because his work is so good. I thought that if I started one people who know more about him would come to the page and add material about his work. I hope that they will. I.Casaubon

references over merit; what we can measure over what we cannot. plus he has a pulitzer. 98.163.75.189 (talk) 16:21, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia required verifiability of it's contents. this article was completely unreferenced before. Now it has references and the article is saved. This makes the encyclopedia of more quality. Regards, SunCreator (talk) 16:29, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello all,

Michael Slackman's title is outdated. He was promoted to Assistant Managing Editor for international in 2019. Here's a third party citation. Please consider updating his title on this page. 170.149.100.113 (talk) 20:29, 13 June 2021 (UTC) Danielle Rhoades Ha 170.149.100.113 (talk) 20:29, 13 June 2021 (UTC) (I work at The New York Times)[reply]
