Clarification[edit]

I can't find this in books about plants - does the original contributor mean Machari (Rheedia acuminata)? - but this is not just a Jamaican plant. if it is this R.acuminate, it's habitat is "Mexico to Peru" - but that plant's flowers are creamy-white, with yellow fruits, so I suspect that this plant is another one altogether (see pp. 610-611, "Flora of Barro Colorado Island" by Thomas B. Croat, Stanford University Press, 1978 - see Google Books. Can anyone find information about this plant? Otherwise, I would propose deleting this article!
