"district was created in 1965"[edit]

This is misleading. Redistricting has dramatically shifted the boundaries of districts. Even just with the 2020 redistricting, numerical districts might not even partly overlap the homes they used to encompass.

This is true, to an extent. The sentence is meant to indicate that pretty much the name of the district and the system of numerical districts as a whole was created in 1965. Its not meant to imply that the specific boundaries have existed for that long. The fact that the district did not always encompass the same territory should be made clear to the reader by the section "Historical district boundaries". Seeing as changing boundaries due to reapportionment is a feature of virtually every legislative district in the United States, I don't find it is necessary to explain that in this article, though I could be wrong.
