Notability[edit]

Is Mick Mercer really that notable? He was important at the time, but is he anything more than footnote? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beetlehive (talkcontribs) 09:57, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability is not temporary. If he ever was notable, he still is. Given that he is the author of several significant books about a significant subculture, he might be notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia. It would be interesting to know if independent coverage of his person exists. Those interviews might count. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 14:32, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

He's one of the earliest and most prolific writers about a certain genre of music, and is still active and sought-after to this day. He's notable. Case closed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Richard Dadd (talkcontribs) 07:39, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliography[edit]

"Gothic Rock - All You Ever Wanted To Know But Were Too Gormless To Ask" Am I missing something or is this not listed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.79.240.241 (talk) 06:56, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's his 1991 book, only including the subtitle. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 15:03, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
