Am I missing something? Is there a reason why this person deserves an entry on Wikipedia. This seems like a promo and best suited to an individual (non-Wiki) webpage. He's the founded of some businesses, operates an NGO and is married. Not to demean these accomplishments but ... so what? If these are the criteria we use to include wiki pages, there'll be > 6 billion personal pages before long. Thanks, Hu Gadarn 19:26, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Hu Gadarn. The page has received virtually no updates within the last two years aside from a few IP addresses. I followed the link from Philanthropist (and even there the description looks like a promo.

  1. Mickey Beyer-Clausen ~ founder of Happiness Foundation unlocking the hidden potential inside all of us to use our knowledge and skills to accelerate the impact of charitable projects. )

Google for "Mickey Beyer-Clausen" -wikipedia has only 640 hits, most of them are profile pages. --jliu (talk) 05:38, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Subject does not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. I suggest it be nominated for deletion, either with the standard proposed deletion tag or the BLP proposed deletion tag. In the meantime I've removed the poorly sourced and promotional content.FitzJD (talk) 04:50, 23 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Philanthropy

[edit]

Saw Mickey Beyer-Clausen's profile on FacesofPhilanthropy.com, and noticed his Wiki article was lacking a philanthropy section, so I added one. Sir. Somerset (talk) 18:53, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
