I've just removed the below links from the article which were under a section References and further reading. I originally moved them to an External Links section. On looking a bit further into them, some of them just link to generic SQL blogs. The rest point to specific articles but none which support points in the main article. [edit]

I think these external links could be relevant to the article. If they are, the main body of the article should be improved and the links used as References. I'll look through them when I get the chance and see if I can add any where applicable. Swoophle (talk) 14:13, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The following external links may be to relevant to Microsoft Azure SQL Database but we should try and use them as references to improve the article, rather than just dumping them at the end. A couple of them seem more appropriate to an SQL article, rather than this article. I'll try and find an appropriate place for these to live, whether here or elsewhere Swoophle (talk) 14:13, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"offering non-relational data storage capabilities" - I'm fairly sure Sql Services is relational. From the source at the bottom of the page: "SQL Services will deliver a rich set of integrated services that enable you to perform relational queries, search, reporting". I'm changing it. 87.246.96.2 (talk) 12:25, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"SQL Azure Database can help reduce costs by integrating with existing toolsets and providing symmetry with on-premises and cloud databases." -sounds like blanant advertising, doesn't it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.209.18.141 (talk) 12:48, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rename

[edit]

This article should be renamed to the official name used by Microsoft.

I don't think even Microsoft knows what to call it 2602:30A:C7D7:F80:1800:96F4:E93D:E6A9 (talk) 16:43, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
