Please leave my sentence as it is. Comprises is NOT correct and completely changes the meaning of the sentence. "Comprised of" is both grammatically and contextually correct. Asturnut (talk) 05:52, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

At first I was confused about the name of this article being soley "Mieres". However, I realized that this article refers simply to the municipality of Mieres. There is a seperate Wikipedia page for the city of "Mieres del Camino." Also, every source I referenced had Mieres' population is between 45 and 50 thousand inhabitants. This includes Spain's census bureau. I lived there and am quite sure these sources are correct given the density of the population and the number of high rises and congestion. I have added references citing the population of Mieres. Asturnut (talk) 06:20, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The City is not "Mieres" is "Mieres del Camino" and has 25,000 inhabitants. Anonymous
