Notability

Might be satisfied given its national recognition. Perhaps the speedy rationale is diminished. now if we can keep the COI parties at bay.... 99.170.154.183 (talk) 23:50, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

By the way, given my good faith effort to save the article, a box of donuts would be greatly appreciated. If you ship cross-country, I love powdered, glazed, and chocolate ones. In no particular order. 99.170.154.183 (talk) 23:56, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello 99.170.154.183, I am new to wiki, I am sure you noticed. Thank you for your help in editing my page. Unfortunately Mighty-O does not ship product cross-country, however, next time you are in the Seattle area, there are a dozen donuts with your name on them, you choose the flavors. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bertinees (talkcontribs) 01:33, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Being new, you need to know three things: It's not your page--it belongs to the Wikipedia community, i.e., the world, so anyone can edit it; similarly, please be familiar with the WP:COI guideline, per editing an article about your own business; if you're the same contributor as the article's original author, be aware that it's not cricket to edit the article using multiple accounts. And a fourth thing: change your shipping policy, or open a branch in New England. You could do crullers in the shape of a lobster. 99.170.154.183 (talk) 03:16, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

99.170.154.183 Thank you for the pointers! I have a few questions for you. 1st one is, since the Mighty-O Donut page was deleted upon request of ladyshalot is there any way to make that page go away for good? I would really like that so anyone searching for Mighty-O Donuts doesn't click on the old page (Mighty-O Donut). 2nd & 3rd question if I wanted to ad pictures to the page what are the regulations for that. Also, I have been researching wikipedia pages to see how they are set up. I really like Dunkin' Donuts logo box, with all the information about it on the far right. <= how do I make this? 4th &5th question how is there so much information about Dunkin' Donuts and Voodoo Doughnuts? <= Is this from multiple people editing the info? Lastly, as far as shipping, the donuts probably wouldn't taste as good if they were shipped cross-country, especially if they were going to New England from Seattle. Hahaha, and if we ever do get over to the New England area, the cruller idea is a good one! :)

Honestly, the best policy is to stay far away, and not write about your own business or even touch the article unless it's to correct wildly inaccurate or potentially libelous content. Eventually conflict of interest will be evident, and it leads to problems other users must then fix, primarily promotional in nature. Perhaps other editors will take notice and add to the article in due time. I don't know the Voodoo business (bright side: they have more sources and a longer article, but an unfortunate acronym), but Dunkin' is a major chain that would be chronicled by countless sources, hence all the information. The Mighty product sounds great..... 99.170.154.183 (talk) 18:36, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Okay I shall take your advice and let the public take over. Thanks for helping me get started. Have a great day. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bertinees (talkcontribs) 18:45, 12 July 2011 (UTC)
