WP:LEAD

After reading the LEAD, my main question is when did he stop playing 3rd base? I am especially curious whether he played third in his MVP seasons, most notably his triple crown season. This issue reminds me of Rod Carew who mostly played 2nd base from 67-75, but won MVP in 77 when he played over 150 games at 1st base. Did Cabrera play something like his first 9 seasons at third, but switch to 1st before his most important seasons? Looking at BR.com, it seems that there is a lot of explanation necessary regarding his position. I think this is about the minimum possible content in this section for a GA. It might be nice to know the name of his high school, the names of any siblings, and some brief discussion of his athletic exploits that led to him being signed.
