The Ultimate Leader

C'mon now, I don't mind all the facts. But can we get rid of the commentary to make it neutral?----Seventy-one 01:41, 4 January 2007 (UTC) This section appears to be lifted directly from Shanahan's bio from denverbroncos.com (http://www.denverbroncos.com/page.php?id=357&contentID=415)Mg5v 18:30, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Haha, no we know its not neutral- and plagueristic. Though, the stats in it are good, we could just strip down the commentary do and the section will be fine.--Seventy-one 22:48, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Fixed, I think Nick Bond 02:31, 15 January 2007 (UTC) -Nice, its perfect now. Thanks.--Seventy-one 08:37, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

mention of the the word mike shanahan as a football term?

this may sound ridiculous but I think it would be noteworthy to include that the term mike shanahan is now being used to describe calling a timeout at just the right time so as to nullify an accurate kick (not merely iceing the kicker); credible sources can be found confirming this...--Tvwatcher (talk) 09:14, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

2008 season historic?

The 2008 broncos were not the first team to lead wire to wire and lose a division, the minnesota vikings did it in 2003 (actually lost after time expired in week 17). Dbt (talk) 00:12, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

This isn't an article - it's a fawning love-fest

Seventy-one (above) is right; the commentary needs to go. Aside from listing Shanahan's "accomplishment" of winning four playoff games in a single season three different ways (big deal, the guy won a SB with a WC team), blather about his being on an "exclusive...ultra-impressive" list has to go. There's no objectivity in this article; it doesn't detail Shanahan's downsides, such as his conflicts with Reeves and Davis and his failure to achieve any significant success at Denver in the post-Elway era. 67.171.215.0 (talk) 17:42, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Formatting Problems

There are formatting problems with the box on the right so the dates don't properly lineup with his jobs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.33.202.86 (talk) 13:13, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Photo

Is it just me, or is a photo of the back of Shanahan's head worse than no photo at all? If I didn't know better, I would think that the other man in the photo was Mike Shanahan, seeing as it's the photo for his article. GuruGuru214 (talk) 09:01, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
