Should jäger link on this page really link to Finnish Jäger Troops, that article consentrating on the history of Jäger Battalion 27? Jägers of 1917 didn't have anything to do with the Jäger battalions of 1812, except for the name. Jäger (Jääkäri) is and has been a very common term in Finnish unit names, in fact all infantry soldiers today are called jägers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.249.137.10 (talkcontribs) 18:48, 21 June 2005 (UTC)[reply]
