Page needs serious work

[edit]

"Troop Commander", "Pilot", "Helicopter Pilot", and "Forward Air Controller" are not ranks, they're positions/roles/jobs/etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.78.250.178 (talk) 22:47, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The last section of this page concerning military service of earlier English monarchs needs a lot of work. It should either limit itself to service in other countries' armies, such as William III, or include all English (and Scottish, Welsh and Irish kings) who saw active military service (ie. nearly all of them before James VI & I!) I believe Charles II also served with the Scottish forces before the Restoration. GrahamPadruig (talk) 23:40, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The whole page needs serious work. A large chunk is inaccurate. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:01, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see it claims that Edward has no medals. This contrasts with what he wears when in full uniform. <ref> https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/fa/1d/73/fa1d738d15f883aa267a94dbcc6f5dd0.jpg <ref> 2.102.72.70 (talk) 18:51, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Lance Tyrell[reply]

HM The Queens' service was not 1948-49 - it was in the Second World War.
