People's Liberation Army MilitiaMilitia (China) – Per Chinese law, the Militia is technically not part of the PLA. 58.163.134.55 (talk) 15:02, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you provide an English source that provides the name of the milita? Garuda28 (talk) 16:13, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Law of the People's Republic of China on National Defence, Article 22:
Even if there is no official full name for the Chinese/PRC/CPC militia (since they are just "militia"), the page shall be titled militia in China or militia (China), like militia (United States), Militia (United Kingdom), Militia (Great Britain), Militia (British Dominions and Crown Colonies).
The so-called "People's Liberation Army Militia" has no official or academic source in English or Chinese. It contradicts the fact and common sense that the militia is not part of the regular Army. Is is not supported by its emblem with a name in Chinese and pinyin which literally reads "China Militia". File:Emblem of People’s Militia.svg
I’m in agreement. I’ll wait a few days before making the move to Militia (China) so others can comment. Garuda28(talk) 04:35, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
