Contested deletion[edit]

I think this article is a good stub, and given that according to [1] it has been awarded James Beard Foundation Award, I'd say give it some time to develop. --hydrox (talk) 03:08, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the announcement of the award. --Ronz (talk) 06:09, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Dawneliz (talk) 03:09, 27 October 2011 (UTC) this page is simply a description of a documentary film that has already been promoted. this page tells the story of michael schmidt, a canadian farmer. it is the story of the interaction between his farm operation and the authorities. this is why it is linked to michael schmidt's wikipedia page.[reply]

Proposed merge[edit]

Previous Wikipedia consensus has been to merge articles together if they have low notability on their own. I would suggest either merging Michael Schmidt (agriculture) to this article, or merging this article to Michael Schmidt (agriculture), whichever of these sounds more suitable. --hydrox (talk) 03:43, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The other way around. The farmer is notable; the film is not. - The Bushranger One ping only 05:39, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Additional sources[edit]

These are both articles in reliable sources, and could be possibly integrated into this article. --hydrox (talk) 03:47, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
