public interest

This person is a public convicted criminal full proof dead in an obvious crime and even a biography is written by Deanne Rauscher. deletion?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.247.9.228 (talk) 16:02, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

My, Werldwayd, Stefan2, Peter Isotalo and Iselilja's thoughts exactly. I wonder if IPs can perform a WP:SNOW close...--Launchballer 21:40, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

"Found dying" or "found dead"?

The lede states he was found dead, but his Death section says police found him dying in his car and couldn't save him. Which is it? Big difference. — Wyliepedia 23:11, 23 January 2014 (UTC)

The truth is that the police has yet not confirmed the victims identity. 82.209.148.187 (talk) 23:51, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
The truth is that every swedish news source is now reporting that Markovic is the victim. To say that he is not dead is at best an illusion im afraid.--BabbaQ (talk) 23:53, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
That is also true. Both are true. It is still news and it is not our job to declare him dead? 82.209.148.187 (talk) 00:00, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
In answer to colleague "Launchballer", actually the fact that he was found alive but could not be saved is mentioned in the reference given just after it. Translation: "At least one shot must have gone through the driver's window and hit Markovic in the head. Once there, ambulance men tried with resuscitation attempts, but Markovic's life could not be saved - he was found deceased at the scene." So I was just quoting word for word the Expressen report that he was resuscitated but his life could not be saved.... But I added this when it was a minute to minute "developing news". Now there are more reliable reports now that 24 hours have passed. I will make more research to clarify this. werldwayd (talk) 21:53, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
I completely misread that, I thought it was a query as to why it was up for deletion.--Launchballer 21:57, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

I haven't commented on this section?--Launchballer 22:08, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Another indication he might have been alive is in the Aftonbladet report: In Swedish: "Bilen som Mille Markovic satt i stod fortfarande på tomgång och han blödde från huvudet när han hittades." - Translation: "The car Mille Markovic sat in was still standing at idle and he was bleeding from his head when he was found." The report says hew as found bleeding , not found dead... werldwayd (talk) 22:13, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
A colleague has rewritten the paragraph that looks better now to circumvent this issue about whether he was dead or was found dying. The new text says: "On 23 January 2014, Markovic was targeted with four gunshots in Ulvsunda, a western suburb of Stockholm and was fatally wounded in the head. Police found him on his car's driver's seat, but his life could not be saved". Better vague than inaccurate. Meanwhile I have added an English source, The Independent as all sources till now ere Swedish. werldwayd (talk) 22:36, 24 January 2014 (UTC)
