Verification

[edit]

This article doesn't claim anything that is not in the Bible verses it cited. Do these count as a reliable source, or is some other verification needed? What if it were reworded "According to the Bible, Millo is a fortification built by King Solomon?" --Et764 21:39, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a line in the introduction, "referred to in the Hebrew Bible". - BobKilcoyne (talk) 05:45, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

Reasonable people may want to see more evidence before deciding what the Large Stone Structure is. But the photo and details form Mazar's dig make it pretty clear that we can finally resolve the puzzle over the nature of the Stepped Stone Structure and its identity with the Millo. It/they were the support structure for the Large Stone Structure. We should merge them. And hope to learn what/when the Large Stone Structure is as the dig progresses.Broad Wall (talk) 13:30, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Keep separate

[edit]

Millo is a subject in its own right and anyone looking for information on it would probably not think to look under "Large Stone Structure", even if they knew about the latter. Likewise, anyone looking for information on Eilat Mazar's discovery would not think to look under "Millo". KendallKDown (talk) 07:49, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
