Globalize[edit]

As currently written, this article discusses the plant only as it relates to Australia, although the lede notes that it is now found throughout the tropics. I can add some references to its effects in the US state of Florida, where it has been classed as an invasive, noxious weed by both the state Department of Environmental Protection and by two federal agencies; it is listed as a Category I invasive, which is the most severe category. However, I don't think that alone will be enough to balance the article, as every section deals exclusively with Australia. I would suggest restructuring the article to address effects and actions by region, which will allow for additional editors to add details about other regions.
