Maryland business development

In April 2005, Burgoyne toured economic initiatives in Caroline, Dorchester, and Talbot counties with several state officials.[1] She was a presenter at the 2018 Get Social Delmarva conference hosted by the Fiber Arts Center of the Eastern Shore where she spoke about social media development strategies.[2]

A bus tour in Caroline County included the former residence of Patty Cannon at Linchester Mill.[3] Burgoyne is the founder and owner of Chesapeake Ghost Walks.[4] The company was founded in 2013 and includes a series ghost walks on the Eastern Shore in cities such as Ocean City, Easton, Cambridge, Denton, Crisfield, Snow Hill, Pocomoke City, Berlin.[5] Burgoyne interviewed 26 people for the Ocean City tour on the boardwalk that includes the Inlet, Life-Saving Station, and Trimper's Rides.[6] In 2014, 10,000 people participated in one of 130 walks organized by Chesapeake Ghost Walks.[7]
