Danhausen

[edit]

I have a 1:43 white metal 1977 Gr.5 Celica. The instruction sheet says "MINICHAMPS - BY DANHAUSEN" in the border and "Minichamps Nr. 25, Toyota GR 5 1977" in the corner. Combined with this website, it leads me to believe that Danhausen was the original company and that Minichamps was an offshoot from it - or a replacement. Also, the address given at the official website shows the company name as Danhausen GmbH (which I believe translates to Danhausen Pty Ltd). Does anybody know anything more or have a usable reference?  Stepho  talk  10:31, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks to Cstevencampbell for answering my questions by expanding the article.  Stepho  talk  07:49, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship with AUTOart

[edit]

There apparently was some legal wrangling between Paul's Model Art, UT Models and AUTOart. The nature of that relationship and legal battles in Hong Kong courts are unclear. Paul's Model Art appeared to have claimed AUTOart and UT Models had taken advantage of them somehow. Details with sources anyone?--Cstevencampbell (talk) 04:50, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
