About old deletion discussions[edit]

Should an old deletion discussion be valid for all future, or is it possible to start to redevelop an article later on? Sure, in this case it has been only a little over a year since the discussion, but still, can't a discussion ever be considered to be outdated? Should it always lay a dead hand over the development of articles? Dammråtta (talk) 22:58, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Consensus can change but it would take a drastically changed article with many sources proving notability. Until that is proven afds remain in effect regardless of age. For a rec level team in a sport with low popularity in its country you are going to find it very difficult to do. --DJSasso (talk) 03:29, 22 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
