Not "the gay place"
[edit]- I lived a long time and I don't think that there were so many gays or lesbians as said, to call Miraflores as "the gay place". There´s no marked difference with the other districts about it. 15:37, 17 July 2005 User:81.34.209.67
It probably refers mostly to being the center of gay nightlife in the city, rather than having an actual gay resident population. Most gay pubs and clubs are located there, after all. And most of the cafés and restaurants listed by Epicentro Gay Guide as gay-friendly are located in Miraflores, which, for such a conservative country, may be enough to explain the term.--Xlamar (talk) 16:40, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

It seems like this page was written by somebody who doesn't speak English all that well. Several phrases are awkward and sound like direct translations from another language.

List of mayors of Miraflores District
[edit]The mayors list is added at "See also" section for now. In future, if article is expanded with "Politics" section, it would be good to move this list there. Perhaps as "See" template. JoeNMLC (talk) 20:00, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
