Awards

The services of Mirzo Tursunzoda as a leading poet of the time and a social and political figure of Tajikistan have been recognized with the state awards of the USSR, the USSR, Lenin state and Nehru international awards. He deserves the following titles:

USSR State Prize (1948,

• Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Tajik SSR (1951),

• People's poet of Tajikistan (1961),

State award of Tajikistan named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki (1963)

He became a Hero of Socialist Labor (1967).

For the stories "The Story of India" (1948), "Hasan the Cartwright" (1954), "Eternal Light" (1957), "The Voice of Asia" (1960), "Sweet Soul" (1963), he received the state awards of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan. (State award of Tajikistan named after Abu Abdullah Rudaki).
