Notability

[edit]

I think that this page should be deleted because this is the article about a company, corporation, organization, or group, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.155.51.209 (talkcontribs) 17:45, 16 June 2011

Hello there, thank you for posting. I disagree that the article should be deleted: I think it is about a company with worldwide operations, one that hundreds of individuals look to as an employer, and one that hundreds of thousands of individuals and organisations look to as a supplier. You will find that many large and even some smaller companies have Wikipedia articles; this is not because Wikipedia is a business directory, but because these companies affect the lives of thousands of citizens, and are therefore notable.
Also, if you think an article should be deleted, you can check out these guidelines. If you feel the article is not neutral or not encyclopedic, you can re-write it, or propose it for deletion. It is sometimes helpful to get the opinions of one or two other users first, by posting an appropriate tag at the start of the article.
Finally, while you are welcome to edit Wikipedia without revealing your identity, it is helpful in discussions to have a Wikipedia account and log in. That way, we know we're talking to the same person each time. If you don't want to open an account, you can still sign your comments with a name or nickname.--HAdG (talk) 12:12, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
