Bimbo rocks. don't listen to what other people sayyy :] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.243.90.103 (talk) 10:21, 26 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This game has been receiving tough criticism for its pushing of body image to a young female traget audience. Saw it on one of the morning "news" programs here in Aus.--ZayZayEM (talk) 11:07, 26 March 2008 (UTC) Link[reply]

Bias in the Article

[edit]

I thought that this article appeared very clearly biased. I'm a 23 year old Miss Bimbo player, and I'll admit that I logged on due to the controversy. I expected to be horrified by the game. However, despite the emphasis on beauty, players are also strongly encouraged to train for jobs, study at the library, and otherwise improve their lives.

I'm not saying the game is perfect, but it isn't as bad as the article is making it out to be. According to the MSNBC article "Don't Blame Miss Bimbo," a lot of the players on Miss Bimbo are older. I know a lot of people who are playing the game that are in their mid twenties.

Although plastic surgery is a definite option, it isn't necessary to move up. What is necessary is getting a job, feeding your character, buying clothes, renting an apartment, and other parts of real adult life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.133.94.159 (talk) 03:10, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyways, apparently the whole point of the website was satire. They're making fun of bimbos... I think. Serpentine17ice (talk) 06:49, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If what I have currently written is considered biased, please edit it slightly, but please do leave in about the changes to the site and the falling out with Ma Bimbo. I do not know the reason for it, but I know it has occured (I frequently the Miss Bimbo forums and have read much of what is going on including the banning of the use of French on the forums.) I also deleted the Ma Bimbo link from the page as both sites say they now have nothing to do with one another. Alerya (talk) 19:57, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Enough. Keep your complaints out of here, Wikipedia is not a battleground for events happening elsewhere. I've protected this article for 72 hours. If that's not enough, I'll extend the protection until it stops. --Rodhullandemu 01:52, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I believe thatAlerya may be using multiple identities this I feel falls under the three edits rule for banning people WP:3RR Dwanyewest (talk) 02:44, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am not using multiple accounts. I had been away at work from approximately 2:30 EST until 10:45 EST, which was when many of the edits occurred and this is the first time I have touched it since I last edited anything. I have no reason to use multiple accounts, and I am offended that you would accuse me of such a thing. Others have taken what I had posted, changed it and reposted it. That is not my doing. Please refrain from trying to spread rumors; it is highly unbecoming. Alerya (talk) 03:22, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
