First mission to honor a woman[edit]

When the article says it was the first mission built to honor a woman, does that mean the first California mission, or first mission anywhere? howcheng {chat} 17:42, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mission's Exact Address[edit]

There actually might be a dispute about this mission's exact address: according to this article, the mission's address is 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, California 95053, which is the address of main entrance of the Santa Clara University campus. However, I recently looked at a map of the Santa Clara University campus on Google Maps and according to the map, the mission is located off of Alviso Street which cuts through the campus; there are also other streets on the campus that have names such as Palm Drive. The mission does not have a street number, but if it did, it would be between 590 and 1005.

So I am not sure whether the current address posted on this article should be kept or if it should be changed to Alviso Street, Santa Clara University. Please let me know which address is the proper one to be used for this article. ~~User:CalicoCatLover August 18, 2013 13:03 (PST)~~

If you read this WP article, the school Santa Clara University was started on the mission campus. I think it makes sense to use an actual address rather than an assumed one based on history.
