Records against SEC teams[edit]

If you look at the Alabama page you see a section showing the record against each of the SEC teams. I am an Alabama guy not a Mizzou guy but maybe someone that has access to those records could create a similar page. Just looking at the bowl games perhaps they already have winning records against a lot of the SEC. Just a thought. Uniforms[edit]

Someone should add the new uniforms. I would but I don't know how. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.179.235.96 (talk) 22:59, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New uniforms[edit]

This page needs to be updated with Missouri's new uniforms. There needs to be a new image with their current uniforms. Esb5415 21:47, 10 November 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Esb5415 (talkcontribs)

National Championships[edit]

How can Missouri have 1 claimed national championship for 1960 and also an unclaimed for 1960 as well. Just curious. In the 2018 Media Guide they don't state any national championships for football. Sullivan9211

According to the 2018 NCAA FBS Record guide, the 2007 Missouri Tigers football team IS NOT recognized as a national champion by any organization that the NCAA list. I'm not going to change it in the article because it will be reverted back. Just saying. Sullivan9211

The NCAA does not "recognize" national champions at the FBS level. However, the citations have been extended to make the selectors and their NCAA-designations more clear. Note, please sign your comments with ~~~~. UW Dawgs (talk) 10:27, 9 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2007 National Championship[edit]

Please stop removing the unclaimed 2007 national championship. It is on here because it was awarded by an official NCAA designator. Please do not engage in an edit war. If you want to discuss it, feel free to do so here. Esb5415 (talk) 18:54, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tennessee Rivalry[edit]

To the anonymous user adding Tennessee as a rival...Do you have any reputable sources that list it as a rivalry? I haven't been able to find any, which is why I keep removing it. Esb5415 (talk) 17:15, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

History[edit]

Someone with more know how than myself should really expand on MU's football history through the years. Example-First teams, Early History, Devine/Faurot years, lean years, Gary Pinkel, 1960/2007 Ntl. champ years etc. etc. I see other teams with far less rich history than Mizzou with way more detailed Football pages.
