Airtel

The frequency for Aitel is also GSM 900. --16:40, 21 December 2007 (UTC)16:40, 21 December 2007 (UTC) --!!Rsrikanth05 (talk) 16:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Rogers Wireless Canada

I believe the frequency for Rogers wireless is GSM 1900 MHz. Digicel

Digicel Jamaica is listed with MCC=338, MNC=050. The same is valid for Digicel Antigua and Barbuda and for Bermuda. Digitel Turks and Caicos Islands has same MCC but MNC is shorter - MNC=05 I expect this shorter MNC is wrong and should be 050 as well. Any comments?

MNC for BLK Communication Benin incorrect,

I cannot find a source to determine the MNC for the BLK Communication Benin entry.

It's currently 04, Glo was also 04 but it should be 05, I made that edit.

However Bell Benin Communications Already had 04 for it's MNC, so I belive 04 is incorrect for BLK, BLK Communication Benin.

Should this be replaced with an ?

List consolidation

The list part of this article is very long and overlaps considerably with the main cell network lists, which are broken down by region:

I think it would make sense to simply add the code columns from this article to those tables, and link to this article for an explanation of what the codes mean and are used for. This would eliminate the need for a confusing link from the intro of List of mobile network operators. -- Beland (talk) 17:22, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

I disagree with Beland. I think it is very useful to have one searchable list instead of having to search through four different lists. -- Drahtlos (talk) 15:34, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

The list here also overlaps with various technology-specific lists... Ideally all those lists should be consolidated into one database but I have no idea how this could be done.

Invalid Link

Reference 68: "^ GSM Coverage Maps" -> http://www.gsmworld.com/roaming/gsminfo/cou_ge.shtml gives 404 Not found. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.254.175.5 (talk) 12:05, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

All GSMWorld links were dead. I have removed them. -- Drahtlos (talk) 16:30, 25 April 2014 (UTC)

441 for Japan

Some online resources cite 441 as a MNC for Japan, including it seems: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code (disclaimer: I don't speak Japanese)

Maybe this should be added to the list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.190.87.194 (talk) 15:24, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

tele.ring and T-Mobile network in Austria

Since quite some time now T-Mobile and tele.ring share the same Network. I don't know how they do it exactly, because if you search for available networks from any mobile, you don't find tele.ring in the list, but if you have a tele.ring SIM card, you see it as a separate network. I guess tele.ring should be listed to have GSM 900/1800 and UMTS 2100 now?! Here is an article about it, and here some hint that T-Mobile might be shown as provider name from tele.ring. Anybody (talk) 14:00, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

I believe they do that by using the GID1 and GID2 fields on the SIM to differentiate Sbingner (talk) 10:59, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
