Note on revised article
[edit]First versions of this article by user:David.a.gelman, an employee of the company, were speedied as spam. I moved a later version into the his user space and pointed him to the guidelines on COI and the Business' FAQ. Following the suggestion there, he invited me to help develop the article in his user space and to put it back as an article when I considered it acceptable. The originator's interest is declared, the article is now adequately referenced to demonstrate notability, is not unduly promotional, and in short I consider it an acceptable article in line with a number of others. JohnCD (talk) 20:13, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say it still has a very "promotional" tone, and four of the thirteen references are to the company's own website. It is better than the original, but still needs to be "neutralized". --LarryMac | Talk 14:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Question on Orphan Tag
[edit]The criteria for an orphan article is one that links to two or less general articles. This is not the case of the "Mobivox" article. It contains several more links to relevant articles. Because I am personally connected to this article, I am essentially prevented from doing anything to this article, including linking it where necessary to other articles. What can I do? David.a.gelman (talk) 18:11, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
- Orphan means few other articles link to this one, i.e. few articles link to Mobivox.--Boffob (talk) 16:08, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080110044504/http://www.newtelephony.com:80/news/73h268385964764.html to http://www.newtelephony.com/news/73h268385964764.html
