"1972 - 1974 Bruce McLeod (Saskatoon, SK)"[edit]

Is this correct? I was sure he was 100% Torontonian. Masalai (talk) 14:40, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, but in any case, I'm not convinced that the addition of specific place names is a positive change. Many moderators moved many times during their careers. Does the place name indicate where they were born, where they were working when they were elected, where they lived most of their lives, or what? Guinness323 (talk) 16:06, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
On reflection, and closer examination, I could see no connection between the place name and the person. (For example, Gary Paterson was linked to Ottawa ON, but as far as I can tell, he has lived his entire life in Whitehorse, Germany, and B.C.) Therefore, I eliminated the place names. If the unregistered user who added them would like to indicate what the place namesa represent, and provide sourcing for them, he or she is free to do so. Good thinking. I entirely agree. Masalai (talk) 16:54, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The locations noted are where the Moderators were elected (where the General Council was held). Not where they came from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.232.76.18 (talk) 14:51, 15 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
