[Untitled][edit]

This is my first attempt at creating a page on wikipedia. It just seemed to me to be a rather large omission in terms of the coverage of pacifism/just war the encyclopedia offers. If someone was willing to help out, putting in more information, listing it as a stub, I'd appreciate it. Bedefan (talk) 22:08, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed for deletion[edit]

This article was proposed for deletion on 12 May 2021. Haven't thought about this page or editing Wikipedia in years, but I got a notification. Anyway I tried adding some more citations, and I deleted the notability warnings on the page itself (I believe that's what it said to do if you believe it shouldn't be deleted, but if that wasn't correct, my apologies!). In the edit history for removing the notability warnings I explained that modern-war pacifism is a significant subject in just war theory and pacifism, especially from a Roman Catholic perspective. Google scholar turns up 29 hits for "modern-war pacifism," at least a few of them leading academic or intellectual journals with in-depth discussion of the topic. I've spent a bit fiddling around here but don't have much time for this these days. Anyway, I think it's notable, but this page just needs to be improved rather than deleted.
