I was pretty worried that the band wouldn't be notable enough, even after more than 10 years and 2 million albums sold (a US tour and working with a Scottish and a Japanese producer and the son of a Beatle notwithstanding). But it was on the requested articles list, so that made me relax. Still the article could use:

  • Awards
  • Album images. Perhaps break the discography off into a separate article.
  • Free-use images.
  • More references, especially references from a recognized music magazine.
  • Who's the bass player? Was a bass player ever part of the band, or has the bass player always been a "gun-for-hire", rotating position? Wisekwai 20:54, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
In their first album there is a base player in the band, Somath Bunyaratanavech. He was no longer part of the band in subsequent albums. According to my That song album, the bass guitar was played several players (depending on the track). -- Lerdsuwa 14:30, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Modern Dog" or "Moderndog" ?

[edit]

in its official website http://www.moderndog.biz/ it uses "Moderndog" -- Bact 09:04, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Modern Dog is how I've seen the band referred to in English-language publications in Thailand. At first glance on their website, I figured maybe someone had been sloppy in transliterating the name from Thai, which has no spaces. But the website is in fact written very well and carefully, with English titles for the songs and such. So annoying as I find it, it seems this page must be moved, and perhaps an additional redirect ModernDog be created as well. Wisekwai 10:54, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image requested

[edit]

This band frequently performs around Thailand. It should be possible to obtain a freely-licensed photo of them to replace the promophoto image that's currently being used.-Wisekwai 10:36, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First Album's Cover

[edit]

Should it be replaced with th:Image:Md1.jpg, which is the original CD cover ? (the current one shown in English article of Modern Dog is a cover of re-release version) -- 58.136.73.25 17:51, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
