Good start
Good start to this article Yidisheryid. IZAK 12:45, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Is there a need for this article. How is this different than Orthodox Outreach. Is this merely a POV fork to label MO not as O as O? Yossiea (talk) 14:13, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- No those are really 2 difrent thinks. the modern orthedox rabbis preaches aspects in judiasim which main stream judaism does not consider as outreach, i will try to explain this article was born in the midst of a discussion about aliyah if its really a Jewish approach in regards to Outreach see Template talk:JewishOutreach#Aliyah isn't part of Jewish outreach, where consensus was reached that this is one factor where modern orthodox is different than the main stream orthodox, also there is many other basic approaches which must be enumerated to understand the deep and wide divide and difference between the 2 groups. i will leave this to Izak since he is more of the expert here.--יודל 14:20, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well at least me and Yidisheryid are in agreement here for once. Just as there is a Orthodox Judaism parent article and a main category Category:Orthodox Judaism and the subset articles are Modern Orthodox Judaism with Religious Zionism and also Haredi Judaism as well as Hasidic Judaism -- all with coresponding categories to match -- they also all have their own unique brands of Jewish outreach, which this series of sub-articles will deal with in detail. And there is more than enough sources and material to fill all such articles. So I would not be concerned. Let's focus on writing the article. It is a good start. Thank you, IZAK 14:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- OK, just wanted to be sure. Yossiea (talk) 14:57, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
