Schedule

[edit]

Dear @Jamisonsupame, I am confused about the schedule. You have entered that there is only a one-round competition divided into three days with fencing ranking round the first day, swimming, bonus round and equestrian the second day and laser-run the last day.

However, even the source that you have added ([https://medias.paris2024.org/uploads/2023/06/Competition-schedule-by-sessionevents-V4.2-1.pdf]) states that it is a two-round competition, with the fencing ranking round the first day, semifinal (including probably - as per other competitions - swimming, bonus round and laser-run) the second day and final (including swimming, bonus round, equestrian and laser-run) the last day. See page 62 of the document.

Can you please check it? Thanks. Okino (talk) 19:57, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

OK, never mind, I have found the official schedule here. Thanks. Okino (talk) 20:00, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the correction! I got confused because the one in Tokyo seemed to only be one round of each.
Hmm, I think it's too vague, What does the "semi final" mean/entail? Since it's multiple rounds, what if we said "Round 1, Round 2, etc." for each event while saying also what each round curtailed, making it more clear what happened each day. Jamisonsupame (talk) 22:50, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For now, I reverted your edit. It is not 1st and 2nd round, it is one semifinal (one round), where the competitors are divided into two groups, semifinal A and semifinal B. The system similar to the regular MP competitions (World Cups or World/European championships). --Okino (talk) 20:26, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
