Latest round of the GW wars

[edit]

I'm dubious about [1]. Latif has made some incautious statements. However, it shouldn't take up so much of his article.

Incidentally, "Latif himself has always been a described non-skeptic." is curious phrasing.

I've changed it to "Latif is a not climate change sceptic but is concerned that a possible 10 to 20 year cooling trend he has predicted may cause people to wrongly believe that global warming has ceased." and removed all the criticism sourced to blogs. I'm sure there are scientists who disagree with his predicted cooling, but it still needs to be properly sourced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.153.37.174 (talk) 09:51, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I thinkt that's still not entirely correct. Read the paper this statement is supposed to be about, and maybe check the background at The Way Things Break, including the audio of Latif's presentation. Nils Simon (talk) 12:52, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

edit war

[edit]

Could someone please explain to KimDabelsteinPetersen that activist blogs and websites like Media Matters are not reliable sources. Vividuppers (talk) 23:53, 23 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why William M. Connolley is tag-teaming that rubbish back in as well.Vividuppers (talk) 00:02, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to talk, you'll need to be polite William M. Connolley (talk) 00:05, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There's really not that much to talk about. Please do not edit war, please do not insert poorly sourced and biased material into the article per NPOV and BLP. Thank you. Vividuppers (talk) 00:11, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
