Inclusion of musical acts of note that have performed at the venue[edit]

An editor has removed the sentence in this article that previously read:

(Section header) Selection of Music Acts:
Some past acts include: Tame Impala,[1]The Triffids,"Days of the Triffids: WA icons reunite for Perth Festival". The West Australian. February 10, 2016. John Butler,"The lights were almost switched off at Mojos for good, but now the legendary live music bar is back". June 24, 2020 – via www.abc.net.au. the Hard-Ons,[2] Chris Cheney,[3] Body Type,[4] The Murlocs,[5] Amyl and the Sniffers.[6]

Should we include such a section? Jack4576 (talk) 13:13, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I support such an inclusion.
Given this is a music venue, providing some examples of past talent that has played at this venue adds some encyclopaedic value to this entry Jack4576 (talk) 14:54, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion of Controversies section[edit]

This bar has recently been the focus of controversy in local news, due to assaults by staff members and alleged inappropriate behaviour by one of the owners. This resulted in boycotts by noteworthy acts and was featured in musical news sources.

There was previously a section of this article that read:

Controversies
In 2021 the bar temporarily closed following the resignation of its then-owner Andrew Ryan, following several allegations that his behaviour had "caused others to become uncomfortable".
The following year, a staff member at the bar was fired following allegations that she had shoved a member of the band 'Body Horrors'.[1] After this incident, various WA bands including 'Lauren & The Goodfights', and 'Noah Dillon' cancelled their shows at the venue.[2] The venue later apologised.[3]

Should this section be retained / returned to the article? Jack4576 (talk) 13:17, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I support such an inclusion.
Given this is a music venue providing some news context of recent controversies in the music industry adds some encyclopaedic value to this entry Jack4576 (talk) 14:55, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
